Work from home that really works!

If you work from home, there are a number of options open to you. However, many of these options aren't very good opportunities after all. For example:

  • Work from home scams are increasingly common. These scams often involve scammers demanding an upfront fee for a job or the chance of a job. Needless to say, these jobs rarely materialise and the fee is never seen again.
  • Other work from home jobs are genuine, but offer criminally low rates. It's not uncommon for people who work on a freelance basis from home to earn half the minimum wage. Because they are freelance, the employers are under no obligation to provide a set hourly minimum.

So how do you find work from home that really works? Here are a number of tips to help:

  • Never pay an upfront fee for a job. If the job is genuine, the employer will pay you to do the work rather than the other way around!
  • Don't accept any less than minimum wage for a job. And if you have considerable professional experience, look for considerably more! Know your worth and don't settle for anything less.
  • Research any company that you are thinking of working for. And don't just rely on the information on their website - check out impartial reviews and forum sites.
  • Never give out your personal details to a work from home employer without ensuring that they are totally genuine. Identity crime is a growing problem and you should always think carefully before revealing any personal details.
