Top Universities in the world

If you believe league table the following are the top universities in the world. You’ll probably notice that most of these institutes are either American or British so does that mean you should only look those two nations for higher education?

Whether you take the QS World University Rankings (found a topuniversities.com) or the (found at timeshighereducation.co.uk), the same names pop up on each list. Oxford and Cambridge are two that everyone will expect to see and perhaps other famous universities like Caltech and Stanford University in the US are obvious but places like University of Bristol and The University of Manchester are also rated highly in academia.
