Why did you choose teaching as a career?

This is an important question as it gives the interviewer an idea about the type of person you are. Prepare a list of what attracted you to teaching and be enthusiastic and passionate about it.

Why do you want to work at this school?

It is important to do your research on the school and the role you are applying for. Being knowledgeable on the school will impress the interviewer and show that you are keen to work there.

Describe your student teaching successes and failures.

When answering this you can admit that you have had failures, but do not dwell on them for too long. Instead, concentrate on what you have learned from them and how they have made you a better teacher. Promote successes you have made - for example giving students tutorials to help them achieve higher grades.
