Allow us to point you in the right direction for a part time North East career

While many people would agree that finding part time work isn't quite as tricky as finding full time work these days, there are few who would claim that it is an easy task. There are now many thousands of unemployed people in the North East area, and they're all going to be competing with you for the same positions. In order to give yourself the best chance of finding work, you're going to need to keep a few things in mind.

First of all, you can't afford to be picky. While we'd all love a job that fits right in with out interests, previous work experience and formal training or education, in the current economic climate that's not always going to be realistic.

While this doesn't mean you should completely give up searching for the kind of work you really want, it does mean that you need to be a little more versatile in order to find yourself a part time in the North East career, at least to tide you over until you have found something that better fits in with your long term employment goals.

The beauty of part time work is that you'll still have enough free time to pursue the search for the full time job that is right for you, while making enough money to considerably lessen your financial worries.

When it comes to finding part time work in the North Easy, we cannot recommend Tesco and ASDA enough. Both have multiple stores based in the North East, and are far and away the most prolific employers of part time staff in the area. You can expect to earn anywhere from £5.50 to £7.20 per hour when starting off, depending on the position, but there will also be plenty of opportunities to rise through the ranks and earn yourself much more if you enjoy the challenges provided by your new job.
