These types of jobs are one of the most common in the truck driving industry. It involves the carrying of basic dry goods or non-perishable goods from one place to another. One of the companies that offer dry van jobs is DHL. DHL offers a lot of dry van job opportunities throughout Europe. The salary for these drivers starts at £6.75 per hour. After a probationary period, it will rise to £7.25 per hour. A work week is 40 hours and five days straight. Duties include food safety compliance, compliance of vehicle safety checks and reading route maps.
