If you're looking for jobs as a volunteer with computer skills, check this out

While many people are still struggling to find full time jobs across the United Kingdom following the economic problems we have been facing for the last few years, an ever increasing number of people are starting to look towards the volunteer sector as a way to increase their work experience while also keeping active and in a daily routine.

If you have been out of work for a while and would like to ease yourself back into a routine, this is a great way to get started, and there are many very deserving charities and non profit organisations out there that would welcome your help.

Particularly in demand are jobs for a volunteer with computer skills. If you have knowledge of software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Word, then you might be able to find yourself a clerical position for a voluntary organisation. Some responsibilities would include maintaining spreadsheets of contact information, or of finances, or typing up newsletters or memos to circulate among members.

If you are slightly more advanced with your computer knowledge, other positions include web design and maintenance (a knowledge of HTML or Dreamweaver is essential here), or graphic design for logos or event posters. In fact, any way at all that you can think of using a computer would be greatly appreciated by many of these voluntary organisations.

If you aren't sure how to get in touch with these companies in your area, then we recommend you check out the following websites which should have all the information you need;
