Looking for supermarket jobs in London?

Whether you've got previous retail experience or you're coming in fresh, there are always plenty of vacancies available when it comes to supermarket jobs in London. With it being the capital city, there is a much higher concentration of people over a relatively small area in comparison to the rest of the United Kingdom. This means that a much larger number of supermarkets are needed in order to keep everyone in food, drinks and other day to day supplies.

You'll be able to choose from Tesco, Aldi, ASDA, Iceland, Sainsbury's and Morrisons when it comes to deciding where you'd like to apply to when it comes to supermarket jobs in London. With so much choice the chances of you being successful in your search are much higher than they would be searching for work in any other industry.

For those of you with little or no previous experience, you can expect to earn between £5.93 and £6.20 per hour for your entry level work. These roles usually entail stocking shelves, cleaning floors or serving customers at the tills. For the latter role, you'll need an outgoing and friendly personality if you're going to be a success, but the job is enjoyable and you'll meet plenty of interesting people.

For those of you who fancy something a little more senior, there are plenty of managerial positions to be filled in the various supermarkets across the London area, however these vacancies don't arise quite as often as the entry level ones we mentioned earlier. You're also likely to face an awful lot more competition, but if you are successful you can earn between £7.37 and £9.44 per hour, depending on the job in question.
