I am looking for a part time job and I can't find one! Help!

While many people seem to claim that finding a part time job is a piece of cake in this day and age, the truth is that it's starting to become every bit as difficult as finding a full time job. With the unemployment situation the way it is, more and more people are starting to look towards the part time job market due to the fact that they are unable to find full time work.

The part time job market offers them the opportunity to get out there and make work while they are still searching for a full time position, and so long as people keep thinking like this, it's going to get harder and harder to find part time work anywhere in the United Kingdom.

This certainly isn't good news for anyone who has been thinking 'I am looking for a part time job and nobody will help me!', because things aren't going to get any easier. Fortunately, there are a few things that we can suggest in order to make finding a part time job a little easier.

Since the majority of part time jobs in the UK are found in the retail sector, we recommend focussing all your attention there. And in particular, we suggest the major supermarket chains. Since so many people are needed for each supermarket shift, you'll have a great chance of getting yourself back to work with a position with a company like Asda, Tesco, Sainsburys or Morrisons.

The most common positions are working either stacking shelves or as a cashier, earning around £5.93 per hour. However it's worth noting that as your experience increases, your salary will too!

The easiest way to get back to work in these positions is to call into your local supermarket branch and enquire about the availability of work today.
