Why study for a GCSE in science via distance learning?

A science GCSE is a prerequisite for many jobs, particularly those that are technical in nature. Gaining a science GCSE can open the door to many employment opportunities that were once closed.

Distance learning means that you can study when and from where you like. This is perfect if you work full time or have a family, as you won't need to give up any existing commitments to fit your studies in.

What does a science GCSE involve?

When it comes to GCSEs in science, there are three main options - triple award, double award and single award. Triple award science means that you will actually take three GCSES - Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Double award science means that you will gain two, for which you will study all three subjects. Single award science is a single GCSE that comprises of modules in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Which course you take largely depends on the qualifications that you need and your time constraints.

How do I study for a GCSE in science via distance learning?

Most of your learning will be done online, but you will also be sent materials like text books and past papers. The majority of science GCSE courses provide you with a personal tutor to help you with your studies and offer advice.
