Trying to find full time retail jobs?

We know that the last thing you want to be doing spending the vast majority of your time sitting in front of a computer clicking through countless different web pages in a bid to find a job that suits your requirements. This is neither fun, nor is it the best way for you to spend your time when searching for full time retail jobs in the United Kingdom.

It might surprise you to learn that there are actually far better methods to get work in the retail industry than simply relying on online job sites. However the main problem for many people is that they simply aren't aware of the alternative, and we hope that we can change that.

What we suggest you do is to print out a number of copies of your latest CV, and head in to some of the major retail outlets and hotspots in your local area. For the vast majority of people, the best areas to focus their search on across the United Kingdom will be their local supermarket and shopping centres.

Whichever one you choose you can expect to earn in the region of £5.93 per hour for entry-level cashier positions. The main difference lies in the hours that will be available, and the type of work that you will be expected to do.

When working with a traditional retail store, such as one found in any shopping centre across the country, you'll be expected to engage customers, manage stock, maintain a storefront and serve customers at all times. Whereas, when it comes to supermarket jobs you will be assigned one main role that you will be required to stick to at all times.

It is also far more likely that you will get more hours working in a supermarket, due to their later opening times and the fact that they traditionally occupy far more space, and therefore need more staff on duty at any given time.
